Have you seen the jowls on Cohen?
Is this the "race to the bottom" that I've been hearing about?

No you'll even hear derogatory comments about Cowen from some in FF. His succession of Bertie is not as assured as many make out.

Huh? I'm just trying to show the OP how silly his argument is. If this is the best FF and PD supporters and parties can come up with then they must really be running scared.

Scared? That'd be the Fine Gael supporters

FF and PD recognise they're behind and are fighting hard to rectify it.
Labour supporters are approaching arrogance in they feel they're in, no matter what.
Greens were worried but have fought back well to ensure a lot of the mud thrown their way won't stick.

Fine Gael though - definitely scared. Had the election in the bag, but McDowell's tirade against the left is being felt. What a terrible decision it was to allow Rabbitte have Finance. If Rabbitte was getting Justice or Education (he's clearly too scared of Health) and Bruton getting Finance, then this would be a slam-dunk for FG/Labour/Green. Instead things are going to be very close.

How can a tirade against the left be felt when FG are a right of centre party? You're making no sense now rooser.

Are you thick? Really, c'mon think about it?

What a pure stupid thing to say. Does every little thing have to be explained to you?

I'll give you a clue. If FG get in, who will be their partners??
This enlightenment you are now getting will also be happening to many would-be FG voters, who may want FF out - but want that less than a Rabbitte Finance Minister.

But we all know Bertie's a socialist, I mean, isn't that going to get in the way of the PD's statements?? Are you thick? FG's support has been on the up since they agreed a shared mandate with Labour. Its no secret to the Irish electorate who will be in power with FG. And they support it. Its being shown in the polls. The fact is FG and Labour have presented a united front, which means a united coalition, that will represent the citizens of Ireland's needs and work towards a better society.
