Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Fake tan and camping

I'm going on a 5 day camping holiday in Sweden in a few weeks. I do this holiday every year and always use St Tropez tan, but this is the first time I've camped there. Usually I rent an apartment, so I have a shower and lots of room and can therefore re apply the tan as necessary.

Because I won't have access to a shower this year, or very much room in the tent for that, I won't be able to re apply my tan for those 5 days.

Obviously, I will thoroughly exfoliate and moisturise before applying my tan, and I will be using suncream every day, which will have a moisturising effect. Is there anything else I can do to stop my tan patching off for those 5 days?

As an alternative, have you tried to obtain a light, natural tan? Not something that will turn you into a lizard or a cancer victim someday, but about 10 to 15 minutes a day to slowly build without burn? A little sun is actually good for your skin and hair.

The nivea visage tinited tan moisturiser is the biz! Its just like putting on moisturiser and u only need to wash your hands after, also its natural and non orangey and you can build it up before you go.

if your not going to be showering everyday its not gonna fade as fast as it usually would.I got a spray tan(California Tan) before i went to holland for 4 days, and i did have quick showers everyday and i still had a a colour when i got back home. so you should be fine.maybe get a professional spray St Tropaz tan done for a change.maybe just bring tinted moisturiser or a gradual tanner for your face for when u wash your face as it will prob fade a little faster..most importantly have fun on your holiday,no stressing about the tan!!!:)
