    This is old news and has been discussed at length already here.

    What has the stories got to do with people having problems with their internet connection?

    Where are the links to the sites discussing the 'new' 5 meg package? I presume you're talking about a 'new' residential package because they can and do provide a 5 meg (recently upgraded to 6) business package.

    I've read it on a few sites that there UPGRADING the connections like they did last year.
    I can't find the site i read it on.
    It seems the problem as far as I can see is at the exchanges.

    I didn't know that you guys where discussing that just read it now.,

    Re the thread title - no. Smart working fine for me in Limerick.

    I'd guess that this would only affect eircom customers or those of eircom resellers, and that Smart/Magnet/UPC customers are fine ?
