    Well I can recognize a vauxhall viva that's almost rotted away, and a vw derby.
    A couple of cavaliers too.
    Where is the one you have marked in yellow?

    <suggestion/90% sure>

    There’s a few Hillman Hunters, and a Chrysler/Talbot Alpine in there.

    The one with the “exploded boot” is a Vauxhall Viva HB

    Sorry, must have meant to mark that pic but didn't! Anyway, it's number 283, photographed from behind, along passenger side. You can make out the steering wheel around the centre of the pic!

    While out for a stroll during some free time from work, I came across an old abandoned house with a few cars in the driveway. Luckily I had my camera with me and went to investigate. Closer inspection revealed more cars and a little snoop around back revealed even more, many gone long past salvation. There was however a lot of windows, screens etc. lying about. I took one pic of a steering wheel and dash from an old Vauxhall of some sort, when I realised the whole car was present, though mostly rotted away. I took the pic of it in its entirety and marked out the steering wheel with a yellow arrow. See if you can see the outline of the car! The whole place was a mess with hundreds of plastic bags filled with old newspapers, including the inside of the house. Like an episode from "Hoarders". Anyway, see what you can identify, apart from the three or four out front!

    I live quite close to where this house is,
    it's not abandoned:eek:a guy lives there he's about 60ish now I guess.
    I tried on a couple of occasions to buy that green HC Viva as spares for my own(there was a blue one there too),only to be told "Im a mechanic so I will be making use of it":rolleyes: yeah right.
    Basically he buys a car runs it till it stops and buys another without getting rid of the old one.

    Any chance you could get the reg no from the alpine please. Had one in same colour it in early 1980's - haven't seen one on the road for many years.

    Great pics!

    An olds 442 and a Pontiac GTO if I'm not mistaken. Fairly rare cars and still worth a few bob in their current state.

    A friend of mine bought a car from that collection about 2 years ago, at the time the cars had just been taken out of an old lean too shead and we're in reasonable condition the bmw needed sills doing and possibly the floors when you'd get down to it but in general was very solid and complete, the merc was also very solid which was very surprising as it was outside for a long time but it was minus the interior if I recall correctly and also not for sale.
