Yep, pimp my hearse:D I think the english version of pimp my ride did a granada hearse a few years back, flame paintjob and all!Definatly not everyones cup of tea! I cut up a woodhall nicholson built granada hearse(the proper coachbuilt one, there was some unbelievable work that went into the bodywork) last year and some friends of mine thought it very strange.didnt bother me though.
The only thing i will say about the woodhall conversion is that the workmanship is second to none untill you see the rear lights, they are just mk2 escort lenses, and they just make the rear end look unfinished and cheap! And with all their clever design, the fuel filler is inside the rear door.I suppose they were going for the smooth look!

try http://www.hearseclub.co.uk/index.php for any hearse fans out there, you wouldnt think it, but there is quite a following for hearses around the world.
there are two very old hearses in a shed in falcaragh since i was a boy at school dont know what the are but lovely old machines, would not be cheap knowing the man that owns them though.a brother of mine got one to take away of him a few years back(nobody else would touch it)

    Fantastic shots there!!!!:D:D
The toyota crown is one of my favourite cars ever, the immense size of it, lovely interior, and the huge dashboard always impressed me.I thought i was the only person in the land that had any interest in them!!
There was a good share of them raced in demolition derbys back in the day in rosegreen, and some were banger raced there too. I have some shots from a normal camera,i must try and get them scanned and post them up here.
Did anyone spot the black one that was on carzone about a month ago?
there is an oiental guy in swords who drives one as his every day car, lovely cars.

It hasn't moved an inch since about late December, neither has the Jag in-front of it.

:( Why you not like beetles?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 5,461 ✭✭✭Max_Damage

Can't really pinpoint why, the design never appealed to me, as well as the fact I'm not really a VW fan anyway.

My mother had one years ago as her first car, and what she told me about it, it was a pile of shít. Completely unreliable & slow (could hit 70mph flat out!)

I suppose you either get the beetle thing or you dont..
