Used to drive a nice 2 litre automatic sierra, white with all the whistles and bells, skirts, alloys etc. Have a pic somewhere if I can find it. WZS reg, 1985. Sold it for peanuts! Did the same with my Capri!!

Whereabouts are these 2??? Escort van is rare now!

Ballacolla, there's in Co. Laois as far as I know and they were in the county final or something like that lately so that would explain the paint jobs! Out close to Johnstown I think

Fantasticly decrepit golf!!Neither car shows on mywheels either so they are there a long time.

jes a 132 diesel  not much left of that!! the donegal reg golf id have been a cool yoke in its day too.

  • Registered Users Posts: 254 ✭✭mamakevf

Donegal Golf is probably an import as the reg. indicates it being circa 84-85, but the tail-lights are pre-80 small type items.
Can't really tell if it's petrol or diesel as there is a lot of parts removed, but the rectangular air-box indicates that it is a diesel and probably the ,now rare , 1.5 diesel.
    Great pics BTW.
