That looks like a Bedford to me.

That 2000 looks like one that was living in Lusk til quite recently Jack. It was Valencia (I think) with period alloys on it. Haven't seen it here for a while.

    Hi THERE

The 2000 is parked in street parking in Rathgar / Rathmines area now and yes ha period alloys, more than likely same car. Looks quite tidy really. Pity left outside looks quite sad for it self.

Don't think so, the steel is far too thick. Look to the right of the Carina though, there's a Beta that was dumped there last week. :D

Not that I know much about Mustangs but in the original GI60S film it was a '73 Mach 1 Mustang, very similar to the one shown above, but I dont think that is a '73.Its probably a 71/72...................but yes I am being pedantic !

Like wise the GT500 in Gone in Sixty seconds was actually a GT350 as the 500's were too expensive (which is fair enough IMO).

I knew I knew that yellow Mustang from somewhere!

Edit: There's an Eleanor driving around Limerick, I'm actually going to follow him some day to try get a pic!

By the looks of it, back then they were ready to fall apart with rust. Eighteen years on and I'd say you'd pick those things up with a dustpan and sweeping brush now! :p

Well, I managed to aquire it from the guy a few days back, body is well past it but the chassis and running gear is absolutley like new

    DSCF3459.jpg

Only needed a bit of work to get it going, but it runs sweet as a nut,

    - '78 Escort daily driver;
    - '?? Brown allegro with the old chunky number plates
    - Early 80's canary yellow fiesta.
    - Citroen AX
    - plus several others.

All on roads I drive on and have been meaning to get a few shots lately.

Passing this Scammell the last 20 years, on the old Cork road in Johnstown.
Was belong to the late Ossie Bennett, (God be good to him).
A few people have tried to buy it over the years, but he would not part with it.
It was one of his first tow trucks in the Garage there.(there used to be a couple of long wheel based Landrover's there too, with towing gear on them).
I had a close look at it once- A resto only for the VERY Brave- although it appears to be all there.
