Well, I think the colour you got is nicer. The blue/green one looked like a tablecloth in real life! Plus it gaped under my arms, but with a belt, it might have looked a lot better

These are both going back.
The maxi dress is made out of that jersey clingy material that doesn't suit my body at all - pity as it was perfect length and I'm only 5'3"!

The second dress is WAY too short for my body - unless i wore black tights which I don't want as it's for holidays. Also it gapes a lot at the boobs so I'd need a safety pin.

Free postage returns? Has it always been like this?!

I found the same thing; not a hope of it fitting. I measured it and the waist is just over 13 inches lying flat. Absolutely no give in it and there's the tricky zip-and-band bit to contend with. I'd need to size up to at least 14 to make it fit. I've never had to buy a 14 in a dress! Yay for free returns at least!

I feel that the current trend for flowers will only last one season but if there are pieces that I really love I will still get them as I am not a slave to fashion. I just got this jumper from Promod in the sales - it is lovely BUT it is very light and is very easy to snag (it snagged on one of my ring's) - may see if I can get another one as I love sunflowers.
