Reiss Cavella Dress for my graduation

    reiss-black-cavella-mesh-inset-dress-product-1-399093917-normal_large_flex.jpeg

Had to find a black, white or black and white dress. Saw this, tried it on, fell in love, nearly cried at the price tag, spent two weeks trawling through town to find something I liked as much, failed, and went back into Reiss after my last payday. Still haven't told the mother exactly how much it cost. But I'm planning on wearing it to work's Christmas party, so that's the excuse I'm using to justify the cost. That and the fact I'm holding out on moving out, so this is my "congrats on putting up with the hoover at 9am on Sunday mornings" present to myself :P

Zara blazer. Ideally for boots and jeans but should work well with skirts too.

That dress is fab! You should never feel bad for spending more on key pieces that won't date.

Bought a pair of €8 jeans in forever21 for work yesterday, my job can be quite messy so I only buy cheap jeans since they normally end out in the bin after 6 weeks. I am actually quite impressed, they are a very comfortable fit, good length (I got the longer leg) & they are available in 4 colors. I'm not usually a fan of forever 21 but I'll be picking up a few more pairs next time I'm in town.

Got these Kurt Geiger runners in TK Maxx for 36 euro:

And my new winter coat in Mango! Bit pricey at 139 but I had a voucher so only paid 39! Looks nicer on than in the pic:

I was the exact same when I bought them. I found they washed really well and have not gone baggy yet. I went back and bought a pair in every colour.

Oh I tried that on in the green colour, it's lovely! Did nothing for me though :(

My graduation present, the Guess Nikki bag (€150). I was going to go for classic black but the blue stole my heart. It's a great size for work and the quality is fantastic.

Graduation presents from the parents arrived today :) Bought off the Rebecca Minkoff website with a 15% off code (with email sign-up) and free express international delivery (which means they cover customs)

    Rebecca Minkoff Small Monroe tote

    img-thing?.out=jpg&size=l&tid=143716852

Leather is treated and stiff, happy enough as I want to use this for work so it means less chance of scuffs and scratches.

And the main reason we bought off the main US site:

Rebecca Minkoff Mini Mac in Black with Gunmetal Hardware

    img-thing?.out=jpg&size=l&tid=53934477

Found the gold hardware on the Mini Mac to be a bit much, so this is a bit more muted. Bag is more of a true black in person than in this picture and the hardware is a touch more silver than the dark colour also in the picture.

All in all, cost about 100 euro less than getting the two in Arnotts. And Arnotts also only stock the gold hardware Mini Mac, and a slightly different tote.

Since when did the big brands start bringing fly zips back on men's jeans? I tried on a couple of pairs of Diesel jeans this weekend and both had a zipper. That is a big no no for me :(

I've found most of them offer zip flys and also button flys for a lot of their jeans so you could try asking if they have them with a button fly.

10% off coats in my local Oasis. Needed something a bit more waterproof for walking to work, so I picked up the Harriet Parka. Fully detachable fluffy lining and the fur around the hood also pops off. Deciding factor was the "shower resistant" tag :p

so I ended up ordering these in the same colour as you, the dark grey were gone, so I couldn't take the risk of losing these too! haha!
They are €16 more expensive on ASOS, so better to buy them on River Island directly!
I have a pair similar that I got in Penney's last year, but they are not great quality so looking forward to these!

I was heading to an awards ceremony recently, and I wanted a new dress. I came across this beauty from Dickens & Jones in House of Fraser in Belfast, reduced to stg75 in their promotion. Genuinely one of the nicest dresses I've ever bought, very flattering.

Ended up exchanging these as the size 8 was still too big and was gaping at the back when I sat down, so I got the following instead and the skirt is a much nicer fit on me personally. I'm disappointed over the lace skirts as I really loved them.

This skirt but mine is in black, doesn't look much in the pic but is much nicer in reality.

    2mq3m87.jpg

Also got a 3/4 sleeve lace top in burgundy, its fab, it can be dressed up or down. I can't find photos of it at the minute but if I find one I'll post it. :) The top was €10 and the skirt was €12.

I got two things in Tesco - a red lace sparkly dress in the children's section, I would be a 6-8 and it fits me fine, plus I was able to get it for my 4 year old daughter which she loves! I also got this navy velvet dress in the adult section.
