Oh I always throw those vouchers away! I'll be saving them now, that colour is gorgeous!

Purple_Bobbin thats so handy! all of the no7 varnish cost 9.45 here :( but its still a waste not to use them :p

Phasers: you should definatly keep them :) they come in handy even for getting a base/top coat. some of the colours can be nice too :D

I agree. I would never, ever pay €9.45 for a No.7 nail polish as I don't think they are worth it tbh. I only ever get No.7 polishes when I gave these vouchers lol.

Talking about No.7, what are there eyeshadows like? I have two more vouchers and they have some lovely colour eyeshadows, the shadows cost €14 so I'd still have to pay about €7 to get them, don't wanna waste money if they're no good lol.

Thanks Phasers and Purple Bobbin, Of course they are from Paris Ciel, I've heard of people having issues with them but I've never had a problem, They have a sale at the moment evening gowns from 89 euro. I'm on work placement for college and had no idea how much socializing would be a part of it. Hope these will be suitable.

Here is the link to the second

That is lovely, I think it would look great with some nude heels and a statement ring or bracelet, I wouldn't overdo the neck wear as you want to show off the detail of the dress.

What are their sizes like Sibylla? It says that the XL is a 12 - are they big/small fitting?

    Me too!!!

Dudara that dress is fab. I want but have nowhere to wear it.

Just wear it as an everyday dress - I have a lot of Coast dresses (not the satin strapless kind mind) and I wear them on a daily basis.

Life is too short not to wear pretty dresses.

Sorry lia lia must have got one of the last ones in a smaller size, I had to order both in a size 10, I'm an 8 but a friend of mine who has ordered from them before said they are a bit on the small side, I've never ordered form them myself, I will post about the sizing as soon as I get them. Their dresses seem quite structured so I'm hoping they will fit ok, If not I don't mind getting them taken in. There is a size guide below the dress with measurements might be helpful!

    http://www.parisciel.com/sweetheart-neckline-cocktail-dress-with-red-belt.html

EDIT Corkgirl I was texting another friend who ordered from them previously and she also said the sizes
    are on the small side.

Tayla keep an eye on the site they might get new stock in, I only ordered mine a couple of days ago so when they see there is high demand they could restock it!

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,492 ✭✭✭degausserxo

€60, but the foundation brush by itself was €40. You get a little belt with it too!

That set looks gorgeous, make sure you hold on to your receipt because sometimes when they make travel or special edition brushes they are not as good quality as the regular ones.

What brushes are in the set? Is it the 190 foundation brush?

That's definitely a 190, looks like the concealer brush & a powder brush? I have a holiday collection and it doesn't match up in quality to my regular ones (I have full size as well). The 190 isn't too bad though.

Thank you, I didn't realize it was a travel set, my bad. I have a 190 brush anyway and thought it looked like the one in the pic.

    Thank you for your help.:)

Got wedge shoes similar to these in Dunnes Stores for €10

    41PXu5VNM7L.jpg

Also got the No.7 Gel Eyeliner in 'Blue' today (I had a €7.50 voucher that needed to be used:p)

I have the middle one; it looks Violet/Purple, but it is actually blue when on the eye. It went on easily for me (I am normally useless at applying eyeliner, but this went on very easily).

    DSCF7244.JPG

I also got a Turquoise dress with ruffles on the neckline on eBay for €6.45, will post a pic of it when it arrives.

Oh, and a box of chocs from Debenhams as well :D :P

Thanks to Tayla's thread about all proceeds going to Earthquake and Tsunami Relief in Japan from Forever 21 website today I ordered the following:) Fair play to them, not only will purchasers be getting nice stuff but they will also be helping the relief effort. Would be nice if other online retailers followed suit.

Got these: wanted to get something nice for the home stretch which starts next week (hopefully), I also have a few birthday parties to attend in the next short while (my own and our son's and my daddy's) - my husband knew that I was feeling frumpy so went with me, he is great for the blunt comments and really useful (it means that he spends less time shopping so he benefits too), got the skirt that he did not like though.

    http://www.mamasandpapas.com/product-spotted-dress/s0007784/type-s/

Most were in the sale - told my parents that I had got them and they said that they would pay for them for my birthday.

When I was pregnant with my 3, (the youngest is 8) there was such little choice in maternity wear:( And what was available was dreadful. Now most shops seem to do a maternity line. Love the things you ordered Cathymoran, especially the spotted dress.

€52 in Topshop. It's like a vest but it's got a cape draped over the shoulders. I'm not a huge fan of my upper arms so it's great! It's lovely on, gonna wear it with high-waisted shorts.:)
