Trying to organise a group of mates to go over to salthill for the airshow weekend, does anyone have any know any good self catering houses in the area? Am obsviously going to check the net but was wondering did anyone in the locality know anything good? cough.....steyr...:)

Any suggestions for a hotel for the Airshow as close as possible to the viewing area that has parking for a Mister & Missus Bee?

As far as im aware all the Hotels are booked out in Salthill, Try a hotel in Galway City as we will be operating park and ride facilities to Salthill and back to the City after the show, tbh if i was you id walk out to Salthill its only a 20 minute walk out and if you arrive early around 10AM to Salthill you will see the various goings on such as the Helicopters arriving to the park and The Army setting up their displays.

If you want the best possible view of the Action, be right across from "The Waterfront Hotel", across from that hotel is a Lifeguard station, that is more or less "Show Central" for the pilots.
