Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Vista Terminal Services Execute mode

I'm trying to install an application on Vista Ultimate, but it gives me an error saying that Terminal Services are running, EXECUTE mode is enabled, and that I need to change it to INSTALL mode via the "change user" command.

So I tried using the command

    change user /install

but I get the error "Install mode does not apply to a terminal server configured for remote administration".

So I've found in the Services table that the terminal server service was running (must be by default - I never turned it on). So I've stopped it, retried the application and I get the same error, tried to use the change user command again and I still get the same error.

So.. what do I need to do to turn all terminal services off so that I can enter install mode?
