Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Finding it difficult to book somewhere for Saturday night in Drogheda. Anyone know of any good B & B's in the town? All hotels seem to be booked out.

Waterside hotel in Termonfeckin had rooms yesterday. 10 mins in a taxi from club.

    www.drogheda.ie has a list of B&B's.

Green Door Hostel for those on a tight budget 041 9834422

There may be some cancellations on Saturday from players busted from main event in some of the hotels.

Try the Glenside [mid range of market], 3 miles from town centre on the old Dublin Belfast road.

The Neptune [mid/upper range], Bettystown Court [mid range], or The Village [lower end] in Bettystown, 5.5 miles from Drogheda.

you could also try monasterboice or dunleer, both around 15 minutes away by car

O.k. thanks guys. Got a room at the Waterside. That www.drogheda.ie link is strange mike. Sometimes you get a helpful site with links for hotels etc. and other times you end up at louth county councils site. Anyway sorted. I'll be taking chips off demoralised early exit players from the main event in the €550 on Saturday.

on a small side note - anyone coming down who hasnt been to drogheda before i highly recomend Donegans pub in monasterboice. The best steak you'l get anywere and only about 5/10 mins outside drogheda. top notch!
