    Can someone tell me if this is a good result or what exactly does this result mean?

    My Upload speed seems quite high compared to other results..My download speed about normal or lowishl!
    Would that be a fair assessment...

    you`ll never get full speed on mobile but imo your score is very good for mobile broadband ! especially the upload

    I'm with eircom and its supposed to be 2mb,

    Earlier there was no Dublin server and had to use Limerick's server and the download was 1700kbs.

    Had the same problem myself. Couldn't even ping the Dublin server anymore...

    my holder is smart telecom, but the provider i'm with is company called quantum broadband.
    still waiting for eircom to upgrade the exchange.

    Seems to fluctuate quite alot, Thats Eircom for ya, 2 MB and I know it's 2Mb because the 1 mb was actually really only .75 mb and the 2 mb is really 1.5 Mb. It really is twice as good though.

    I think we can safely say that speedtest.net is a little bit borked :D All from different Irish servers. I'm on Eircom 3meg Dsl

    Westnet, 1mb down, 512 up, not bad for the middle of nowhere. Generally hovers above 1mb.

    Thats actually a pretty amazing ping, usually the speedtest results are 40+ for dsl at best and having that on wireless is pretty exceptional.
