    The above is good.

    Unless your 2mb line has been upgraded to a 3mb line. If it has been upgraded (ours was a few days ago), its not the best. It should be better.

    If its still a 2mb line, its pretty nice for a download speed.

    eircom Business Plus

    No upgrade this weekend. Connectivity went dead this morning at 9.30. Got on to eircom around 11.00 and mentioned that upgrade and loss of connectivity might be related - told an engineer might take 3 days to get around to checking problem. Connectivity just returned with the following speeds (was typically around 3.5 meg/350K w a ping of 100ms):

    Yesterday it was allot worse !
    I actually get a better ping when gaming than on the test... Been playing for the past 2hours with 20ms-30ms on a UK server no disconnects

    Mine was 12megs down 1.2megs up a few months ago when I joined NTL ,but now it has halved. Anyone else get this?

    I rang NTL and spoke to tech support, and got a plethora of excuses as to why this happened. You are using a wireless router,the line was very busy,there is a fault on my system....etc.

    After the call I checked again, and presto.....
