Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

There could be a theme to this game - "a dramatic fall from grace", "how to blow it all in 5 easy steps".

We used to play Shels every year until one year the match got a bit nasty. I remember Fenlon was going around kicking every Leeds player and Leeds decided that they werent going to risk the fitness of the players so stopped coming over. Glad to see that the friendly is back on again.

    Strange.

I think it was 2004 (open to correction) the last time we played Leeds (and beat them 2-0) and Fenlon was well finished playing by then.

Yeah I know that but it used to be a regular thing, was late 90's because I remember as it was the first time I had seen Woodgate play for Leeds. Fenlon got sent off for some nasty challenges and there were a few bust ups on the pitch as well. Hopefully it will become a regular fixture again

When Leeds came over in '89 the Guards ordered the gates to be opened to avoid a crush such was the crowd.

I remember that, I was at that game. I was safely inside and away from the crush before the gates opened.
