I'm the newish owner of a 147 Lusso, and it's in pretty urgent need of a service. I'd rather go to a recognised Alfa garage cos it's apparently quite specialised...but I'm sure there are probably other smaller mechanics who are as good with them too. I just don't know where!
I randomly talked to a guy at a service station a while back who told me I should bring it to a place called TI Autos? But haven't been able to find it at all.

Anyone have any recommendations for a garage that's good with Alfas and won't rip me off?

Do a search on this very forum for a wealth of knowledge. If it's a non Alfa main dealer service you want, then Gerry Campbell would be your best bet. He's not much cheaper but at least you get the service and non of the bullsh!t. Prepare to wait for an appointment too.

    Gerry Campbell IS TI Autos
    He's based in Stoneybatter. (01-8386567)

Recognised in Dublin as the guru of Alfas.

Lots of recommendations from the forum members on alfa156.net

From what I have heard he is in great demand and can be totally booked out solid for months. No harm in ringing him to find out though.

I found Alasta Autos quite good in Ballsbridge. They have since become a main dealer again.

Ditto! Excellent to deal with. Had a GTV for a few years, broke their hearts, but fair play to them, they stood by the car and fixed everything. You might pay a little over the odds.

    Cool, thanks for the recommendations.
Have booked in with this Gerry guy, seems like a decent sort. Even suggested I may not need a service yet (a mechanic not keen on unneccessary labour - what's that about!?)

    Cheers
