Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Xbox live problems (please please help)

    I have broadband 2mb/s.

    i use a netopia router.

    whenever i try to go on xbox live it says i have to download a update.

    i click ok.

    it tries for a few seconds then just pops up a box saying it couldn't work or something.

    Why?

    has anyone else experienced this problem and fixed it?

    i have 3 months subscription for xbox live just sitting here waiting and i really want to try it.

    Try the instructions here
    You probably need to lower your hardware firewall, download new firmware and all that jazz. I have the same modem and worked fine for a few months but last week had to fiddle around it to get it back working.

    Have you just started tonight? If so there seems to be some sort of problem with the update servers in microc0ck as I couldn't DL an update for COD2 earlier. I checked the Xbox.com forums and it seems that there's a few having the same problem.

    no i tried previously.

    I got on it, thank you both very much for the help :)

    Is anyone else having trouble with downloading the "Dead Rising" demo?

    all other game demos download fine except that one, which fails after 1%

    Thanks anyway guys :) enjoyed gears of war online for the first time last night :D
