Reccomend me some plants

Hi,

Starting a garden in a very small area,about 4mx5m. a third of this will be taken up by decking with built in seating(seats made from decking material) along the side. I will have square planters placed down into the seating,sitting about 200mm proud of the seat.

This will be quite contemporary with sharp lines and a linear finish.I'm looking for some interesting plants (no trees,i think they will dominate too much) for the planters,possibly sharp looking leaves that will look good all year round,not oo keen on flowers but small flowers aren't too bad.

In the meantime I will scan some sketches and put them up here and some ideas of plants etc,

You may get some good ideas at bloom in the park in the Phoenix Park next weekend. Their are exhibitors and garden designers their so it should be interesting.
