Well, am looking for advice/comments on this :)

Microsoft Vista Home Prem 64-bit 1pk OEM
Logitech MX Revolution Cordless Laser Mouse
    EVGA GeForce 8800 GTS 320MB PCI-E 16x Dual-Link DVI
    Corsair Memory TWIN2X2048-6400 2x1GB 240-Pin DIMM XMS2-6400 CL5
    Hitachi Deskstar 7K1000 750GB SATAII
Corsair Memory 520 Watt, ATX, EPS12V, PS/2, Modular Power Supply
Antec P182 Advanced Super Mid Tower - No PSU Black
Gigabyte S775 Intel 965P ATX GLan HD 8CH Audio ATX S/Pipe
    Intel Core 2 Duo E6320 1.86GHz Socket 775 1066FSB 4MB
2x NEC DVD±RW burner AD-7173 IDE Black OEM, Dual, LabelFlash, Multirecorder(Ram)
Icemat Black 2nd Edition mousepad, Black glass

    Total about 1600E

More than likely going to get a 20' Dell Ultrasharp LCD aswell. The rig'll be mostly be used for gaming and a bit of video editing on the side, and will more than likely be overclocked.

Oh yes, anyone know a good place to get a Tuniq Tower/Thermalright Ultra 120 and Scythe S-FLEX fans?

Ditch vista.. seriously.. Its been nothing but horrible for me with games..

Recording BF2 with fraps in vista.. less that 40 fps.. in xp I get 99fps!

Im going stay on xp til the service pack!

and get mx518 or G5 that mouse will not be good for gaming.. that horrible scroll wheel on the side!

    The 750Gb is 230E.

    Depending what panel you get!

I had the 19" of that the picture was great in all but I recently upgraded to a 22" SM225BW and I find it alot clearer and brighter!

    This the one!

:D Remembering an earlier post, can I quote you on this? I'm holding off on Vista until better drivers and I can get a DX10 card.

The latest graphics drivers have fixed these issues , BF2 should run with an identical frame rate to XP in Vista , it does for me .
There should be no performance hit for any relatively new ( last 2 years ) game in Vista now.

Been running Vista since march and I wouldnt change back now , its way more stable , but some older games wont run at all , that doesnt bother me , I was tired of them anyway , but if its an issue for you then stick with XP.

    By the way , I thought an 8800 was a DX10 card ? No ?

it is and it isnt a dx10 card

it is ready to run dx10 But it was designed to run dx9

the 2900xt is designed to run dx10 and thats why it under preforms on dx9

we can only see how the cards react when real dx10 games are out
