Suitcase is fine as long as its not an integral part like a action or barrel there shouldnt be a problem. Magazine, scopes clothing would be no problem.

Even barrels,if you have the revelant permits for them here.

I went direct to them over the phone and used my irish CC. Got a leupold scope, sun shade and peli case. Delived for next to nothing in the US, massive savings over ireland. I think I saved €1000 over buying the same here.

basspro or cabela's are a must just prepare for the credit card to take a major hit though.

If you are flying BA , they request that you declare any firearms parts , eg mags , firing pins etc , no problem coming through and if you get a chance to visit a Bass Pro shop go for it !!!!!!

I Just saw this post now and its got me worried.
I have a Leupold ordered from these guys:
    http://stores.ebay.co.uk/D-R-Sports-Center-United-Kingdom
    Registered as a private seller
    since 27-Oct-05 in United States

Am wondering are they the same crowd or someplace trying to imitate
the other store. All their feedback is good. Am hopeing the scope arrives
OK and its not some Knock off. (Waiting since 18th May so dunno how
long it will take.) Did not get a confirmation email saying the item is
shipped. (There were loads of Mark4 knock offs doing the rounds at one stage)

Its on ebay uk the prices are in english pounds but the item is located in the USA
so dunno if I will get hit with customs/tax etc.

Got a Leupold VX-III 6.5-20x40mm LR Matte Varmint Hunter
for 370UKP and free shipping. Was tempted by Vinviews one but
at the time his price was out of my budget range. The scope I did
buy is STILL out of my price range so had to stick it on paypal.

If they are some rippers/scammers I should be covered via
paypay protection. Most rippers try to rip you via some form
of escrow account or western union type of stunts. So I am hopeing
    these boy's are genuine.
