Had to buy them the other night because I was scruffy and had a meeting the next morning

But Centra on the Rathbeale Road, Swords charged me €15.40??? When the till girl scanned it she looked more suprised than I did and even scanned them again.

I seem to get ripped off everytime I have to buy something!

I usually get them in JC's and they are around 11 something.

Well, they are the best a man can get you know. You're lucky to be able to get such a fine product at all.

Can't see the point in high-end razor blades myself.

Seems to be a regular occurance in smaller centra type shops, even bottle of milk is dearer here

...or buy a pack of the old style safety razor blades and sharpen them on the inside rim of a jam jar. ;)

I cant use any of the other blades because my skin is ridiculously sensitive, have to get the mach 3 turbo with the aloe!:(

Try using a shaving brush and soap, along with a safety razor, used gently.
It makes the hairs stick up, and moisturises the skin, for a close shave.

A stanley blade and a box of bold will do the job :D

Never buy anything in small centra/spar type outlets if you want to get good value.

Well, it is good value in the sense that the OP got to his meeting, looking spruce.

Go electric, takes about a month of pain to get used to it, good electric and a tub of sudocreme.

€5.40 is not too bad, a lot of stuff like that is over double the price in spar/centra, and each blade has about 20 blades on it now ;)

....and in my experience(and I've tried most of them) there has been no significant improvement since Sensor

I've being using Sensor since they came out. Still have the original razor too. Don't see any reason to change. Tried some of the new ones with three blades and a strip of stickey stuff on them but...nah. Do some of them have four blades now?

Shave properly with a good sharp razor and your skin will be fine.

I have the same mach 3 blad in since December now.....
Heat the steel under hot water before a shave and it's still grand.
