A long time ago, I read a fantasy book with the following rhyme in it: Smoke and shadows, smoke and shadows, No-one knows us, no-one holds us. Leaves and feather, leaves and feathers, Gone forever, no-one told us. I think there was a character in it called Stormy Petrel or something. Can't find in on the internet. Anyone…
