    Sales promotion is the use of attention-grabbing techniques to attract consumers and increase sales e.g. buy one get one free, 33% extra free free gifts etc.
    Sales promotion is widely used by drinks companies as a way of raising awareness of existing drinks and introducing new products. Guinness are particularly good for a free pint.


    PS Look over controlling. Management Activity not up since 2001 and controllong has never been asked. Give me a definition of controlling.
