I used crucials site to scan my system and they came up with a list
The first memory was in a choice of three and the second was in a list down further, why would they recommend the first one more ??
It doesn't seem to be a site that's for techies ,so I can't imagine it's so the .cl4 can be overclocked.
I have ordered the second one @667

The DDR-2 533 modules have lower timings

The DDR-2 667 modules have higher timings

In general it wont make that much of a difference with CL5 vs CL4 though you can pay a premium and get DDR-2 667 that has the lower timings.
