Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I'm looking for a decent Windows Live Messenger client for my sim-free 6680, preferably the real thing. Agile's a rip-off, last I heard it was a monthly subscription plus data charges?? If I were able to get the application from a 3 phone would it work on another network?

No, not the imode client, there's one floating around the net but it only works on Chinese networks now. I tried it last night and no dice.

Quite frankly I don't want to port to 3 just to use messenger.

Have looked a www.fring.com that seems to do the job?

The poster wrote the actual windows live messenger on o2 so I supposed he meant the imode one which is the only "actual windows live messenger on o2" client. I guess he forgot to put a comma between "messenger" and "on o2"... :)

BTW, why would you want to go for a Chinese client if you want a Live Messenger client - if you're happy with any client? There are literally loads of MSN, Yahoo, Gtalk + hybrid chat clients available on getjar.com etc, just pick one :) Take mig33, it's a nice one!

Fring does the trick for me. It doesn't just support Windows Live Messenger/MSN, but also Google Talk and Skype. Works great and uses very little bandwidth.

The one I tried was the real deal... but that's the thing, I'm yet to find a third party one that I actually like. Some I've tried tend to advertise themselves on the other side.
