Hi, can anyone give me some advice on our remortgage?
Apparantly its all ready to go just sign the final letters with the broker and solicitor and thats it..
However my partners ex is being paid off and we had agreed a price verbally...now has changed the mind and wants more...
Broker says **** it and that were goin ahead wit it all and that the ex will take whats given and be happy with with it!!! ( It is a generous offer and more than would be left with if the house was sold...)...where are we left though with the banks and all if the ex wants more and we can't afford to give it?It seems a bit dodgy though...as if the broker wants His money and be done with it?? any1 any ideas?

The broker only cares about his commission which he won't get if you don't sign!
