Most retailers (pcworld, currys, etc) have the Netopia 2247 wireless router for €25, part of the eircom starter pack.

Did you establish whether or not the pack your mother signed up for includes the wireless router? If you can establish that it doesnt - then there should be a cooling off period (albeit very briefly) where you could cancel what your mother signed up for and sign up over the net and get the wireless router. However there is every possibility this could cause confusion in the system!

So if it does not include the router why not ring sales and talk nicely to them and see if you can get the wireless router thrown in as part of the package?
