    Live Video Web Technician – Amusesounds Ltd
    This position is located in our HQ in Dublin, Ireland.

    Amusesounds has an immediate opening for a highly skilled Video Technician who will play a key role in delivering to our websites cutting edge video services and technologies. We're looking for a team player with a solid foundation in providing exceptional customer service and support in a fast paced environment for the web users of our global video services program.
    The successful candidate will be highly qualified in supporting integrated video and audio webcasting systems, working directly with webmasters in different levels of management, engineering, and administrative positions.

    Responsibilities:
    * Provide hands on and remote support/troubleshooting of integrated video and audio webcasting equipment in a broadcasting studio and mobile system environments.
    * Work directly with webmasters to assist in webcast setup and equipment use in a professional and courteous manner (excellent communication and interpersonal skills a must).
    * Provide simple webcasting sessions for users.
    * Work with vendors technical support organizations to coordinate troubleshooting process for all related troubles in a timely manner.
    *Optimising and reducing size of music videos while retaining quality for web publishing.

    Requirements:
    * Degree in CS or EE, or equivalent.
    *The ability to optimise/reduce size of video while retaining quality for the web would be an advantage.
    *Experience in web maintenance for updating our CMS.
    * A solid track record of supporting and troubleshooting technology surrounding video webcasting.
    *Understanding of QTSS and Quick time broadcaster.
    * Solid understanding of videoconferencing standards including (but not limited to) H.261, H.263, H.264, G.711, G.722, G.728, H.242, H.243, H.248, H.450, H.239
    * Experience with audio and video in an integrated video/audio conferencing environment.
