Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

wmv files not playing properly

new XP machine with ant ati radeon 1300 gfx card, ffdshow codecs installed but some wmv files are playing back with all the colours messed up and blocky. Any idea where i can get the right codecs?

I have similar issues with VLC player.
Have looked around the net but not able to fix it.
Hope you find something.

installed full k-lite codec pack and still no luck

Download Gspot and open the video file through there, it will show you what codec is needed.

Just try this;

1) Remove K-Lite codec pack

2) Download & install ATI Catalyst 7.4 display driver.

3) Install CCCP codec pack and play files in MPC.

got it fixed. windows media player problem.
how to fix it:
In media player click tools/options/performance/advanced, then under "Video Acceleration" uncheck the box that says "use video mixing renderer"
