Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi,

I'm down the Limerick way this evening, and see from the "What's on" thread that there is a €100 f/o in the Vic. Does this get many runners? Generate much of a prize pool? Just wondering if it'll be worth heading in for as I'll be staying a bit outside the city.

    Thanks

    Hey tinytony,

The numbers at this tourny for the last few weeks have been poor 8-15. Its a good tourny but we think it got a bit hammered by the Champions League the last few weeks or so. We are expecting an increase in numbers this week as my beloved 'pools march through Europe is over for now and we reckon the usual suspects will be back looking for their fix. Cannot of course gaurantee this but can gaurantee that if you call in you'll be well looked after and there will be plenty of poker played.

from what i've heard the 100 freeze-out in the vic hasn't got going in the last couple of weeks and rarely got more than a table when it did but if i'm wrong i'm sure john or someone from there will be on to correct this.there's a 50 d/c on in fitzpatricks but it doesn't get going till"cards in the air 9:45" ,not good for us working folk, considering the club opens at 8pm this couldn't be good for the number of players it gets.if you like i can pm you both clubs phone numbers and if all else fails pick a pub and i'll play heads up with you if you supply the porter.

    Thanks for the replies lads,

Got delayed at work yesterday evening so it was all hours before I was down the Limerick direction. Hopefully I'll make it in another night.

I went to Fitzpatricks for the first time this Wednesday. There was a €50 freezeout on. It had 36 runners. It didn't start until 10:00 and finishes around 2:30 (or so I've been told). Seemed like a very nice club and a decent tourney.

More than half the regulars in the Vic's €100 game were there so I'd say the Wednesday night game in the Vic is knackered. Looks like Fitzpatricks is the only game in town worth going to on a Wednesday night. (Though the Vic gets bigger crowds on all the other nights apparently)
