Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi,

I'm due an upgrade with O2 and am looking at the E50. The phone runs Symbian OS 9 and I'm just wondering does anyone know what applications are on the phone as standard. Stuff like the PDF reader and the like? Or will I have to buy those seperatley?

Also does anyone have this phone and what are their opinions of it?

I have one over 6 months now, I really like it I was using a Nokia 6310i for years and tried about 10 phones along the way but always ended up back with the 6310i mainly due to the battery life and the fact it could store all of 580 odd numbers and well it just worked well.

I got an E50 from Vodafone it doesn't have a camera not a feature I wanted it, I was able to use Nokia PC Suite to do copy all 580 contacts from the 6310i to the E50 a very deal for me.

The apps on mine are a PDF reader, QuickOffice 3.6.11.0, converter, notes, Zip Manager, Real Player, Music Gallery, Flash Player, GPS Navigator and the web Browser. I think thats all teh main ones.

It's a pretty good phone. It can read out your text messages and announce the name and or number of people calling.

DIdn't know it had a GPS navigator on it!

    Cheers guys.

Irish1 did those apps come with the phone or did you have to buy them afterwards?

    Sorry another question.

Do you know if those apps depend on the provider of the phone - say O2 or Vodafone or are they phone dependant? Just wondering will O2 offer me those apps as well?

Can't be certain jonno but I think they will be on the phone no matter what network they are branded with.
