Last year 8.1% of people got over 500.Everybody here seems to be in that category.

Either it's the smarter people who are on this boards(which is possible) or a few people here are exaggerating how good they are.

Jeez kids I can't get over the high flyers on here!! I did my LC in 1999 (I'm old I know) and in the mocks got 515 and then got 575 in the actual thing. Any guesses or estimates were rubbish and it worked both ways for those who thought they would get such and only got such and those who surprised themselves.

ME 3!!!! But in my opinion, it will go down. Less people sitting this year and less people applying through cao.

Less people sitting, 2000 more applying though CAO. I think it'll stay the same..345, maybe it'll drop in the second round? You could appeal or it could go better than you hoped!

Will Get: 550+ I hope! Just praying I get over 500

Got 500 in the mocks (And that was counting an icky C1 in Maths which went brill on thursday) so HOPING I'll scrape the points I need! We'll see in August! Points better not go up!

I wish some people would stop being so snobby about Arts. i'm really good at languages, like Italian and french and it's my goal to be fluent in them- so what if it's 'low points'.

I think that anything up to 530 is 'achievable' for anyone. with the right dedication, determination and work ethic of course! I think its when you pass the 530/540 mark it becomes nigh impossible for the average student. dedication and consistent studying can only get you so far.

Before I wanted 505 for Law now I want 445 because even though I know I could have got the 505 with a bit of work Im a lazy biatch!:p Plus I dont even know what I want to do, putting down Law on the CAO was kind of to get the Guidance teacher off my back..

lol.i had to laugh.
Now, what i meant is the points are only an indication of how many ppl want to do a course. Just cuz a course have higher points dnt mean its harder.n the other way around.
