Ok, I did have illusions of grandure for this and planned to have links to each of the games and make it generally fancy, but I was out last night and am having trouble seeing straight. So, here's the list. Nothing fancy, just the games.

Because of the way things turned out, some og the games recieved the same amount of nominations, so I put these down as the same number. Hence the list starts off at 10 not 1 and the number counts down from 89, not 100. There was no real way around this so just grin and bare it, after all, it's just a bit of fun and you should get the gist. Also, the keen eyed amongst you will notice that there's actually more than 100 games here, that's because the bottom few had the same amount of votes.

Nice to see Grim Fandango and Duke Nukem 3D with decent placings. Not a bad list all in all, but definitely some surprise positions.

I imagine the people voting for warcraft and warcraft II meant to say warcraft III and that should be higher.

World of Warcraft not in the top 20? I'm surprised by that. Surprised to see Oblivion above Morrowind too, and Quake and Planescape: Torment down so low.

Nice to see Heretic II get a mention (thanks solely to me I'd say), I ran through it again last week and the gameplay and design is as brilliant as ever, even if the graphics have aged.

I had HL as no.1. I really enjoyed HL2, but it didn't make my list purely because it was a sequel. It was great - but it didn't contain anything different enough to merit an independent selection away from HL. Just my opinion though.

Thanks for doing this, humanji. When I have time I'll compare it with the other list.

It would be interesting to see a list of games that people thought had the most influence/impact on gaming - not necessarily the best games, just the ones that progressed the industry i.e. space invaders, Doom, HL etc

its the best game ever dont get me wrong - but anyone who says the PC version is good is a good port in denial (tbh i expected to see it in for sheer love of FF evry1 shud have )

The only thing special about this game was the insane amount of disks it came on (6-8 i think)? shocked to see it in the chart let alone this high
