Recommended area around Galway for off road cycling (woods etc.)

I'm living in Claregalway, just outside Galway City/town. I'm looking for places to go off roading (anything- paths, woods, along coast etc). Places that I know: Clarinbridge Woods- went there for a Connaught MTB meeting Ballyhoura (not near Galway but sounds great) and Oughterard tracks that are being built at present.…

Park near Oranmore.

Cratloe in Limerick or Killaloe Co. Clare aren't too far away.
