Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Weird Admin password glitch

So I run a WinXP Home machine at home (funnily enough) and I've never had a problem logging into the Admin account before.

This morning I booted up from Standby and entered my password whereupon I get a message asking if I forgot my password. Now I've had this before when I accidentally introduce a typo so I tried again. Same result!

So I re-typed my password very slowly, making sure I had done it correctly. No joy. I'm starting to get worried now that my machine is hijacked (and I only ran HJT last night :D).

So I logged into a guest account and that wasn't a problem so I tried to access teh admin account by leaving the guest account logged in and Switching User. I re-typed my Admin password and it loads up no problem

I'm very confused as to what happened here as I've never had this problem in the four years I own the laptop. Any ideas what could have caused that? I definitely typed the password correctly on a number of occassions the first time round.
