Oh crap I've lost my notes......

Could some kind soul out there take a few minutes and outline a few main pointers for most of the functional writing aspect of the course. Besides, it will be good study for you! ;)

    I'd like to know
    1. Letters (Both Formal and informal)
    2. Reports
    3. Reviews
    4. Speech.

Thanks a million to whoever replies because I really need all the help I can get at this stage.

/Damn folder, losing notes on me....

Do small plan at the start of your essays (examiners like these according to my teacher) they help you to focus on what your doing.

try to make roughy 2 points per a paragraph

if its argumentative expplore both sides of an argument, pro's cons etc,
of course push your argument and opinion.

    use alliteration "silly sausage"

in speeches remeber to adress your audience "ladies and gentle" "classmate's" etc.

Always have an introduction in which you describe the topic for discussion

if anymore comes to my mind ill let you know

Ring up one of your class mates and photocopy their notes!
