Failing irish!!

    hey,
    just wondering if anyone knows what happens if you fail irish in the leaving cert?!?!??i heard that you dont get accepted to most colleges if you fail irish!!anyone know if this is true?:confused::confused:

    All the info you need is in the prospectus for the course you applied to.

    The only subject that you "need" to pass in the LC is Maths.

    Some colleges require you to pass Irish but that is generally if the course has something to do with the Irish Language.

    you wont get universities such as UCD and other goverment run college's as far as i know but its generally not a requirement of many technical colleges such as DIT , there are a lot of technical college's
