    Hi,
I am looking for some PC (WinXP etc) software
that has good coverage of Ireland and also supports
GPS receiver. I know it is not the best idea but...

I've been looking by means of Google's and it seems I can not find anything current :\

    Please help! :)

    Cheers!

    never heard of this one.

have you ever used that product ?
they claim Ireland coverage is 100% I wonder
how far from truth that is :)

I used version 6. Fairly good maps, but it's really intended for in-car use with a touch screen.

I sold my copy on adverts.ie a while back.

Take a look at Tyre: http://www.janboersma.nl/gett/index.php

You can use this program in conjunction with Google Earth for some sat navs.

Too bad you sold your copy, the good news is that it can be obtained from other sources as well ;)

I tried that too, but the biggest drawback of this piece of soft is that
is has no street coverage at all (address search etc) so its pretty useless unless
you know exactly WHERE you are going to and can point it on map.
Unless I am missing something ?

Yes you are correct it doesn't have street level searching for Ireland but does for most of mainland Europe.
