Where to socialise for mid 30's to 40's in Cork?

    Not sure if this is the best forum to ask. Here goes anyway.
    What I would like to know is what social outlets exist around town for those in the mid 30's to mid 40's age group. I am especially interested in meeting ladies in that age range - as friends initially.

    I am only interested in ladies who are genuine and have respect for themselves and others.

    I really don't want to go to some joint where every tart in town hangs out, not interested in one night stands etc.

    id be guessing but maybe souths on the mall, old oak, scotts. as for the type i would reckon everywhere has a bit of both.
