Re: The Cadbury's Ad featuring the kids with the eyebrows-has anyone noticed that Cadbury's have put chocolate stands in various shops, petrol stations, supermarkets. These stands have a mirror and a set of black furry eyebrows above the mirror. When you walk past the stand or look into the mirror the music from the ad starts playing and the eyebrows move! Has anyone else notices these stands? God help the people working in the shops where these stands are-imagine listening to that tune repeatedly all day long?!

Rte have made a promo for the Oscars. It's shot on a lidl handi-cam, filmed in the style of "The English Class" and stars several unfunny gobshítes.

I want the people responsible taken to longford in the boot of a Ford Fiesta, ejected onto a pile of pig slurry and beaten to within an inch of their useless, worthless lives with coal shovels.

It's that bad.

The cadbury kids ad irritates me no end. Didnt like the airport one either, but at least the music was decent. If I worked in a shop with one of those adverts, I would come in early to work and take the fuse out. It would drive me mental otherwise.

The MacDonalds Flares ad annoys me, the other 2 Micky D's adds are great though.

The one with the Mobile Bill? "Hi, I'm bill". That annoys me aswell.

The febreze ad where the fish that he is cooking smells awful. Gimme a break!

The add for animal crossing on Wii. It looks like such a lame game. You just know she is going to spend the most of the time talking about boys, boobs and bondage over Wii Speak, and pretends to say nice things to her friends while her mum is around.

I totally agree.

And I am so happy to see that people don't like the Cadbury's eyebrow ad. The first time I saw it I didn't pay much attention (but I knew I didn't like it). The second time, my dad was in the room and he thought it was great, cute and wonderful, he kept pointing at the TV and laughing. It was then I realised I fecking HATE the thing, even more so because I felt like a mega-bítch for being annoyed and not being able to say, 'Yeah, Dad, it's brilliant'. :mad:

WTF?

The whole ad goes through some lass's heading to some far eastern city and then they throw something about barrys tea on at the end of it. Anyone want to make sense of it for me?

Just heard this ad on the radio, advertising Northern England

It goes something like this:
"Why do you think Northern England is called...Northern England?"

This got my attention pretty quick...wondered how they would get out of this one...

"For the shopp-eng, the sight-see-eng, the explor-eng, and of course...the welcom-eng!!! COme visit Northern England...etc etc etc"

Sweet Christ on a pancake dipped in sprinkles, WHO THE HELL THOUGHT THAT UP???!!
I would love to have seen the look on the tourism company people's faces when they heard that crap!!!!

Rather out of touch with the whole student thing, imo. For one, the girls in the ad seem like they drink herbal tea because some footballer's wife does, and secondly most people who drink Barry's tea are so poor they have to re-use the bag about five times...:p

She wasn't an opera singer, but either way the ad is terrible.

Taking a classic song and then just putting up stupid subtitles that are really not true.....terrible terrible ad.

Eyebrows - creepy out!!!

I hate those "Call real girls in your area now" crap that does be on late at night- the music is like soft porn stuff and if the tv is up loud you sound like some freak:D

That poo at pauls house- id be like "those air wicks cost like a tenner and its a fiver each for refills do ya think im made of money ya little creep":mad:

That mace kenny egan one- talk about MILKING IT like- bet he doesnt even shop in mace

that stupid new maxwell house ad where the girl comes back from a concert, clothes covered in sh*t, presumably, only for her mother/grandmother(?) to make her a cup of coffee and tell her about when she went to hendrix in 67 but the difference was, she didnt wear any clothes...blah.. blah.....
i might be wrong, but isnt this almost the same script as some equally stupid washing powder ad from the 90s?????
