i've been lucky tonight. I was annoyed after the crash earlier. and stuck my tank in on the turn with a gut shot and flush draw. was up against the nut straight. i hit my flush draw and have been cruising since. have flopped some monsters and gotten paid too.

still in the stars 2nd chance and Full tilt 400K, but in trouble, about 12BB in both. Was going well in both but had to lay down JJ to heavy action PF in the warmup and just donked off 1/3 of my stack with 10's in the 400k (tightie opens for 999 UTG (BB 400) . I call in CO with 1010. J high flop he open pushes, i call, he has KJ sooooooted)

Edit. Gone from 2nd chance but just got a double up in 400K.

Busto. AK yet again, pretty tired of busting with this hand. UTG (aggressive,playing 8825) opens for 2150 (blinds 200/500). Bigstack(26000) UTG + 1 calls.
I shove for 7500, both of them call. 77 for opener and AJ for bigstack. J on the flop and its all over, that pot puts me way above average. One of these days i'll spike in a big pot deep in tourney.
Really good structure in this tournament (the 400k Full tilt). More play then the mill and still plenty value.

there was a 600k pot on his last table AIPF with 66 vs AQ. Mad fcuking tournament.

btw, what was worse, all-in with pockets 6's or calling with AQ for the 600k pot? Also, going into with QTo for a 200k odd pot seemed fairly awful aswell.

Just gonna throw this in here as it was a sunday tournie. Played the WSOP freeroll in the sporting tonight and came in a very very disappointed 3rd. I got to the FT as chip leader and knocked out the chief early on the extend the lead.

I then lost a big race with JJ v KQ AIPF which would have given me half the chips in play. I managed to knock out Mickste in 5th leaving myself and Noel Keane on about 120k each and the 2 shorties on 20k or less each.

Game got very strange then as Noel only targeted me with his raises and left the shorties alone So it was up to me to double them up 3 fckin times.

When we got 3 handed, Noel found it hard to let go of a hand to raise, and his 74s hit a flush and his 6x also hit a flush. In between, i double up the shortie again to find myself short and the game ends with a 3 way allin. i've J8s, Noel has 99 and Tom has 66. Board is QQ1096 and Noel wins the €12k package to vegas. Good luck to him and wp.

Now to read boards for a bit, try to clear my head and fully concentrate on my months break.
