I'm thinking of upgrading with a komplett bundle (clicky here) the mobo talks of
    Serial ATA-300 - connector(s): 4 x 7pin Serial ATA - 4 Device(s) - RAID 0 / RAID 1 / RAID 0+1
    ATA-133 - connector(s): 2 x 40pin IDC - 4 Device(s)

Basicly I want to know if my Barracuda Ultra ATA/100 is compatible with it.

    Mike.

Ultra ATA is not compatable with Serial ATA(or sata2). Different connector.
But the IDE sockets on that board will support your drive.

So older drives can be connected to the ATA 133 40-pin connectors?
