    Hi folks, new to Boards. just wondering if anyone has any experiences of Lumbar punctures as i am due to have one tomorrow as they think i have M.S . Many Thanks

    The procedure isn't 2 bad....as long as you stay relaxed and ignore what the docs are doing. I had a lp done about 6 years ago in Beaumont hospital, it combined with MRI scans confirmed a diagnosis of MS. I've been in hospital every year since....its not that bad though, there are good treatments out there. Who is your neurologist? PM me if you want to chat. :)
