Do Stores Generally Bundle New Release Games With Consoles?

Just wondering if there is likely be, for example, a GTA IV/Xbox 360 bundle on the game's release date? I'm not talking about an official 'pack', like there was for Halo on the original Xbox - just a good bundle deal put up by retailers for a AAA title + console on its release. Or do they avoid such bundles, knowing that people who want the game around the time of its release will buy it without the need for them to offer an incentive?

for an AAA title there are normally bundled deals buy retailers as well as official pack's so they can sell hardware on the strength of the software title.

but there are good deals out there already for the console plus games for a cheaper price than the console was in the first place , the longer you wait the better the deal you seem to get .

I though there might be... a buddy of mine was so certain that this was not the case that he made me doubt my own, similar, sound reasoning.

Hopefully there's a Forza 2 bundle to put the Xtravision/Smyths deals to shame!
