Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. Does anyone know anywhere that does flat HDMI or component cables that would be suitable for putting under laminate flooring?

I imagine the normal cables might be too thick for this.

    Thanks

Dont know about HDMI , but there are many many reasons why component cables cannot be flat.

In short , to maintain the impedance you must have the dielectric uniform , now you may be able to embed these in a plastic casing so that the overall connection appeared flat , but I would imagine that this would still be too thick to go under laminate flooring. Its much easier to rout this behind a skirting board for example.

Try www.cableuniverse.co.uk, Flat HDMI cables for 13 sterling, bought one 6 weeks ago and is excellent quality. Shipping is per item but even with this you will struggle to get cheaper anywhere else.
