Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Had a friend round sunday night and was hoping to get a bit of multi player action going with my other mate in seattle. So I stuck in gears of war and could not find a way of it letting me allow a guest user to play split screen private match on Live. Also in Halo 2 while it did allow me to use the guest user he wasn't able to use the headset for some reason (whats the point in having two headsets then?) also when we were playing halo 2 my mate in seattle could only here me where our on screen characters were near each other anyway of allowing us to hear each other all the time.

    Anyone have any ideas on what I am doing wrong or what games will allow guest users as It would be great to have a few lads in my house playing against our other mate in seattle.

    you could have made a live account for him. i think you get 1 month free whenever you make one.

    also i think you can change who can hear you in halo by pressing one of the bumper buttons.. not sure tho

    alot of games allow guests on live

    for gears to add a guest for multiplayer go to player match menu and press y and there should be a guest option at the bottom of the page
    guests cant use headsets afaik
