I'm so ashamed to have to ask this, but does anyone know where the water goes in a '91 Suzuki Swift? I can't find schematics anywhere and my manual ain't helping.:o

For the windscreen washers or the engine coolant? There should be 2 separate tanks. Just look around under the bonnet and there should be a small picture of what it does like, theres only so many things you can unscrew lids/caps off under the bonnet, oil, coolant, windscreen washers, brake fluid..

That's why I was panicing, i couldn't find anything.:o But my mate just came to the rescue, apparantly I don't need water, just the engine coolant stuff. This is what comes of growing up in a family with old old cars.

    Anyway, thank you! :)

No problem, I wouldnt fill it up entirely with coolant especially coming up to summer - the usual mix is 2/3 coolant 1/3 water.

'Coolant' is a mix of coolant and water. How does your mate know it just needs coolant?

Cos it says coolant only on the side of the tank thingy. I couldn't read it before, she's (my car, that is) old and was rather dirty inside. I only got her recently so this is a learning time for me. At least she's clean inside now.
