Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Restoration problem when system restarts from battery low off position

    I have a inspiron 600m laptop. when the laptop battery goes low, the system goes to hibernate. when i reconnect the power and restart the laptop, i get a message - "restoration fail, unable to restart from the restoration point due to disk error. click to continue from beginning" when i select to restart from begin, the windows xp home boots up fresh without any problem. what is the problem with restoration?
    how can i fix this?
    is my hard disk going to die soon as the restoration is related to disk issue? please suggest
