Hi, so whats the story with these ... do they really increase power by the claimed 10bhp?? can you actually feel the increase in power when u drive?

Also, are de-cat pipes inevitably louder? - For me, my car is loud enough with the factory exhaust system, so i dont want it to sound like a rusty chainsaw - are all de-cat pipes noisy ? - and where would be the best place to get aftermarket exhaust supplied and prefferably fitted?

    thanks

De-cat pipes make no difference to the noise of your exhaust and will increase your power by 1-2 BHP at best. You may notice the car is a tiny bit more responsive when you drive it after removing the cat.

IIRC a de-cat on a car after 1-1-93 will result in an NCT failure!
